Dark & Brooding Liverpool Skyline, the lighthouse at New Brighton probably has many a tale to tell, a recent batch of photo's had a couple of images that stood out from the rest, so the best have just been uploaded to Flickr.

Pool of Life

A rare shot of the Liverpool Pool of Life, not sure why it's called the pool of life, but I wonder if it has anything to do with all the condoms you see floating in the water :)

But seriously things seem much cleaner these days, and the sand is really there.

New Perspective

"To see the world through a childs eye's"

It's can sometimes be difficult to view things from an alternate pespective, and usually we are forced to look at things through our own eyes, with our own unique perspective on things. Is also hard to see a place in a new light, especially if you have been there before many times, and hard to try to capture a new angle on things for a photograph.

Recently while testing some Fuji NPS 160 film, and various cameras and lenses, I had no choice but to wander around a familiar place, to put the film through its paces, and as serendipity or luck would have it I ended up with a few shots that manage to show New Brighton off in a way I never saw before.

"You have to travel to find yourself."

This Journey of discovery was not just about finding myself, but more about finding someone else.
